Seminar on Distributed Algorithms in Ad-Hoc Networks

83-860

http://webee.technion.ac.il/people/segall/Bar_Ilan.htm

Course Objectives:

Explore fundamental issues in routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) and Sensor Networks

Instructor: Prof. Adrian Segall

Prerequisite: First Course in Computer Networks

Mechanism:

There will be several introductory classes on Distributed Network Protocols and Ad-Hoc Networks.

Then students will read and present a paper from the list below. (TBD)

The presentation will include the selected paper and material from related papers. The presentation will be in powerpoint and will be sent to the lecturer and to the other students a few days before the presentation date. The grade will be given according to the understanding of the topic, the quality of the presentation, the participation in the course and a two page summary of the presented paper.
