Virtual Odyssey is a story driven video game for the PC.
In the game, the player controls a young student who finds
himself in a dystopic future, in the body of a robot. It
involves various minigames such as navigating a maze, blocking
incoming projectiles, and more – while the mystery behind the
enigmatic events of the future unfolds.
The game is played using the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality set,
and the Microsoft Kinect camera.
The purpose of creating the game is to tap into the potential
of these relatively new tools and to
explore the possibilities of creating immersive gaming and
storytelling experiences with them.
