About the game

Motivation

Video games are an ever-changing art.
This means that new and revolutionary ways to display and receive input are being challenged every year.

With the progress of technology in computing, graphics, and imaging, the old dream of creating Virtual Reality systems is more reachable than ever.

Plot

The game begins when the protagonist finds himself in a ruined city, not remembering when or how he got there.
Throughout the game, he has to to block fireballs thrown at him with his hands, fly around in an abandoned warehouse while shooting enemies, and locate certain items which contain further hints pertaining to the story.

Hardware

The Oculus Rift is a head-mounted virtual reality set, displaying a 3D image to the player, using a gyro to track head movements and communicate with the software accordingly.

The Microsoft Kinect is a motion sensing input device based around a webcam-style add-on peripheral. It enables users to . control and interact with their console/computer without the need for a game controller, through a natural user interface using gestures and spoken commands.

Combining these two elements enables an unprecedented level of immersive storytelling, which we combine with a handheld controller to balance it with immediate and responsive input, resulting in a unique gaming experience.
