3D video has gained an increased interest in the last years. Usually the 3D video produced by filming the scene by two connected cameras. But there is another way to create a 3D video – use depth information of the scene. In this project we are interested to use ZCam (from 3DV Systems) for 3D video creation. We will fuse the color video with the depth information provided by the camera and create two separate video streams (for left and right eyes), that can be later displayed as 3D video.
