From a Video sequence to a panoramic image

To create a 360 degrees panoramic image from a video sequence, the frames are projected onto the surface of a cylinder.

This cylindrical transformation bends horizontal lines, which allows stitching images with different perspectives.

The resulting images are stitched using ‘feathering’ and cropped to a rectangle
