Syllabus
- Introduction: What is a router? How does it work?
- Output queueing: Work-conservation.
- Input queueing: Head-of-line blocking. Switch scheduling. Bipartite graph matching. CIOQ architecture. Proof of stability using Lyapunov functions. Birkhoff-von Neumann decomposition.
- Buffered crossbars
- Load-balanced routers
