Travel Information  

Delegates arriving in Cambridge by train should get a taxi from the station to the College. If they are catching the coach from Heathrow, then the bus station is literally behind the College. The routes from the various airports are detailed below. The quickest & most convenient routes are indicated with an asterisk(*) Travel from Stansted Airport:


Travel From Stansted Airport:

Take Express Central trains in the direction of Birmingham or Liverpool stopping at Cambridge. There are regular services every thirty minutes Monday to Friday but times are variable on Saturday and Sunday. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes and the cost is approximately GBP7. On arrival at Cambridge Rail Station, take a taxi to Christ's College, University of Cambridge. Taxis are located straight ahead of the station.
OR Take a Jetlink coach ( http://www.gobycoach.com/) to Cambridge. There are services every two hours throughout the day. Journey time is approximately one hour and the cost is approximately GBP8. On arrival at Cambridge Coach Station take a taxi to Christ's College, University of Cambridge. 

Travel from Gatwick:
Take the Jetlink service, number 797 to Cambridge Bus Station. These depart every two hours from 05.20 until 21.20 and the journey time is approximately four hours. On arrival take a taxi to Christ's College, University of Cambridge. Taxi's are opposite the bus stop. 
OR: take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station. This departs every 15 minutes throughout the day and costs approximately GBP11.00. The journey time is thirty minutes. From Victoria either take a taxi or Underground using the Victoria Line Northbound to King's Cross and from there a direct train ( http://www.railtrack.co.uk/rail_network/index.cfm ) to Cambridge. There are regular services, almost every thirty minutes, Monday to Friday but on Saturday & Sunday the times are variable. This journey time is
approximately one hour & the cost is approximately GBP15.00. On arrival take a taxi to Christ's College, University of Cambridge


Travel from Heathrow: 
Take the Jetlink coach ( http://www.gobycoach.com/ ) service, No 787 or 797, to Cambridge Bus Station. There are hourly departures throughout the day and the journey time is approximately two hours, thirty minutes. The cost is approximately GBP20.00. On arrival, take a taxi to Christ's College, University of Cambridge. The taxis are located to the right of the bus station. 

Travel from Victoria Coach Station: 
Take  the Express Shuttle service No.010 to Cambridge Bus Station. There are regular services throughout the day and the cost is approximately GBP8.00. Journey time is approximately two hours. Take a taxi to Christ's College, University of Cambridge. Taxis are located to the right of the bus station.
