Welcome to "From depth to 3D video"
3D video has gained an increased interest in the last years. Usually the 3D video produced by filming the scene by two connected cameras. But there is another way to create a 3D video – use depth information of the scene. In this project we used ZCam (from 3DV Systems) for 3D video creation. We fused the color video with the depth information provided by the camera and created two separate video streams (for left and right eyes), that can be later displayed as 3D video. We showed our results using the anaglyph viewing method.
