New faculty member - Prof. Amir Rosenthal

The Electrical Engineering department welcomes Prof. Amir Rosenthal, a new faculty member whose appointment will begin on March 1st, 2015.

Prof. Rosenthal's research interests include optoacoustic imaging, intravascular imaging, inverse problems, and optical and acoustical modeling.

Prof. Amir Rosenthal is currently with the Institute for Biological and Medical Imaging (IBMI) and the Chair for Biological Imaging (CBI) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Before that he completed post-doctoral studies at the Cardiovascular Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, in Boston. He completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Technion in 2006 under the supervision of Prof. Moshe Horowitz.
