In recent years there is a growing interest in developing and improving the means of man-machine communication. There is a continuous search for simple and intuitive ways to interact with machines such as speech, hand gestures, head movements and eye gaze tracking.

Gaze tracking system are useful in a variety of areas: helping handicapped people / people having speech impediments, contact-free operations, identifying points of interest while browsing websites, identifying the drivers’ focus of attention, gaze tracking systems integrated in helmets for pilots and more.

There are a few gaze tracking systems , that have been developed in a controlled environment that allows easy analysis, for example systems with head movement restrictors or complex and expensive illumination settings, all of which make the system cumbersome and not accessible for all users.

So how can we create a system that will be accessible for the common user?
