It is easy to guess from the subject that now I am in brazil. Well... it´s lovely, such a good change from peru. No more agressive people, no more honking in the streets, no more annoying merchants. But before i tell you about brazil, i want to tell you about lima... I had such a good time in lima doing nothing, so i decided to extend my flight ticket for a few more days in order to enjoy it a little more. Also, my flight which was on the first of november fell on haloween, and it is not in my nature to miss good parties... Preparing for haloween, i rented a spiderman costume. I went as usual to the disco tequilla with two israelis from the hostal. Because i was dressed up, i got in free (i like entering free) to the disco. It was a nice party, but not many people dressed up. Suddenly, all my troubles seemed so far away (mr. bean, 1997)... Suddenly a host showed up and called some people on the stage. As they were all dressed up i thought this was a costume contest, so when the host grabbed me i did not hesitate. Surprisingly (to me), it was not a costume contest, but a dancing contest of black music (drums)... So i did what i had to do. After we all danced the crowd voted me to be the best! An israeli beating the peruvians in dancing! This awarded me 24 bottles of beer. I did not want to spoil the event by saying that I don´t drink beer... I think this was one of the few times i enjoyed drinking beer... Sorry, didn´t have my camera on me, but the disco took my picture and said they will hang it at the enterance. I´ll be famous! The rest of the days in lima were pure laying around and doing nothing, which is of course the reason why i am here. Then came the flights... I flew from lima to rio via santiago chile. When i reached santiago de chile the country looked so western, i suddenly realized that a month and a half passed, and soon i will take a flight back home... But then I noticed that on all the big signes at the airport the word flight was spelled as fligth, so i knew i am still in the schuna of south america. The food on the flights was excellent, as i ordered kosher food. It was funny looking at the pathetic meals they gave the regular passengers. Arriving at rio was a nice change. The weather... It is 30 degrees here, much like tel aviv but without the humidity. The city is beautiful, many beaches, copacobana, very western, beautiful people. Actually as a tourist here you do not stand out, as there are many white locals. The only problem here is that brazil is now empty of muchileros, so i am alone here in rio. I will move on to more touristic places. My next plans are to tour the rio state and then move down to florionapolis. till the next ephisode!
