Ran Ginosar received his Bsc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the Technion in 1978, and his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University in 1982. He worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1982-1983, and joined the Technion faculty in 1983. He was a visiting Associate Professor with the University of Utah in 1989-1990, and a visiting faculty with Intel Research Labs in 1997-1999. He co-founded four companies in the areas of electronic imaging, medical devices, and wireless communications. He serves as the head of the VLSI Systems Research Center at the Technion, and his research interests include VLSI architecture, asynchronous logic, electronic imaging, and bio-chips.
